The 4 scenes
1. Dinner is served
The one who gets fed sits behind a platter of giant red cheese sticks and grins straight into the camera.
2. Let me explain
The one who serves leans in from behind in an apron and long red nails, presents the plate and points out every part of it.
3. Open up
The one who serves holds a giant cheese stick to the other one’s lips and feeds it to them, cheese stretching all the way.
4. The verdict
Back to the one who got fed, cheeks full, nodding in bliss and giving it a thumbs up.
What the "your dinner is ready" meme is
It started as a running series of real home videos. One friend, in an apron and long painted nails, stands behind the other, who sits at a table in front of a huge empty pan. "Cardo, your dinner is ready," the one standing announces, then piles on an absurd dinner, points at every part of it, explains it, and feeds it to the one sitting by hand while they grin, wince and finally dig in. The best-known one was posted on 9 February 2025 and has been watched millions of times; the line became a sound of its own.
People have been re-enacting it with their own friends, partners and parents ever since, swapping the name for their own ("Charles, your lunch is ready"). In late October 2026 it came back as an AI trend: one episode in particular, a platter of giant red, spicy-crusted cheese sticks with a bowl of nacho cheese, the long red nails, the pointing and the hand-feed, with two friends put in it from two photos.
How this generator makes yours
The video is made as four shots from two photos: the one who gets fed grinning behind the platter, the one who serves presenting and pointing, the hand-feed with its cheese pull, and the verdict, cheeks full, thumbs up. Each shot starts as a still picture drawn from your photos, so both faces and both outfits stay the same from the first frame to the last, and a video model then sets it moving. The shots that need only one of you are drawn from only that photo, so the two of you never swap places.
Each finished video runs 16 seconds at 1080 by 1920, with an original playful instrumental made for this template and a small AI-generated label in the corner. The one who serves always gets the long red nails and a plain apron, whatever their photo shows. There are no captions burned in, so any text on top is yours to add on TikTok. It takes a few minutes and costs 80 credits from a credit pack or paid plan.
The sound, the name and the snacks
The sound is not in the file. The line comes from the original creator's own video, and it is theirs, so we do not put it in a video we make for you: the track in the file is an original instrumental, light and silly, made for this template. You add the "your dinner is ready" sound on TikTok when you post, as everyone on the trend does, which also lists your post under the sound with the other videos on the trend.
The name in the line is a real person's, so the video never says it and never shows anyone from the original videos: it is only the two of you. The cheese sticks are homemade-looking, with no bag, box or label anywhere, and the kitchen is a plain one with nothing printed in it. angles.video is not affiliated with the creator of the original videos or with anyone in them.
How to make a Your Dinner Is Ready video yourself
You do not need this page to make one. This is how the video is put together, with the prompts for every shot, so you can build it with any picture model and image-to-video model you like.
Step 1
Draw one still per shot from the right photos
Use a picture model that takes reference photos. Draw the two solo shots, the grin and the verdict, from the first photo only, and the two shots with both of you, the pointing and the feed, from both photos at once, naming who is who as image 1 and image 2. Describe the platter, the kitchen and the red nails the same way every time so nothing changes between shots.
Step 2
Animate each still, and save the bite for the motion
Give each still to an image-to-video model with the action spelt out: the sweep of the hand over the platter, the pointing from the cheese sticks to the sauce, the bite and the long string of melted cheese, the slow nod and the thumbs up. Ask for one continuous shot from a still camera with no cuts.
Step 3
Cut it together and add the sound
Trim the four clips to about 3, 4.5, 4.5 and 4 seconds and lay them end to end at 9:16 with hard cuts. Add the "your dinner is ready" sound on TikTok when you post.
The shots, second by second
| Time | Shot |
|---|---|
| 0–3s | Dinner is served A waist-up shot of the first person alone at the table, grinning at the camera behind the platter and rubbing their hands. |
| 3–7.5s | Let me explain Both of them from the waist up: the second person behind the chair, presenting the platter and pointing at it with a long red nail. |
| 7.5–12s | Open up Both of them from the chest up: the second person feeds the first a cheese stick by hand, and the melted cheese pulls into a long string. |
| 12–16s | The verdict A chest-up shot of the first person alone, mid-chew, nodding with their eyes closed and then holding up one big thumbs up. |
The prompts, shot by shot
Each shot is made in two steps. Give its still prompt to a picture model with the photos listed for that shot as references, then give the picture it draws to an image-to-video model with the motion prompt. Add these endings to every prompt: they set the look and keep the faces the same from shot to shot.
End of every still prompt
Keep each person's face, facial features, skin tone, hairstyle and build exactly as in their reference photo, so they are instantly recognisable. Keep each person the same gender and age as in their photo; never swap who is who. A candid still from a real-looking home video filmed from a tripod across the table: bright, flat indoor daylight, slightly soft focus, a little grain, an everyday look rather than a cinematic one, vertical 9:16. The scene fills the whole frame edge to edge: no screen, viewfinder, bezel, notch or border in the picture. No text, no captions, no watermark, no logos.
End of every motion prompt
One continuous shot with no cuts. Keep the people looking exactly as in the first frame. No text.

The person in the reference photo, in their own clothes from the photo, sits at the table behind a big plain white platter piled with giant thick cheese sticks, each as long as a forearm, coated in a bright red spicy crumb crust, beside a plain white bowl of smooth glossy orange nacho cheese sauce, both hands resting on the table either side of the platter, looking straight into the lens with a huge, wide smile showing their teeth, eyes wide with delight. A medium shot from across the table, seen from the waist up, the platter and the bowl in the foreground at the bottom of the frame. The room is a bright, plain home kitchen with white walls and white cabinets, soft daylight from a window and a light wooden table, with no packets, boxes, bottles, brand, logo, label or writing anywhere in the picture. Nobody else is in the picture.
Motion prompt
They look down at the platter, then back up into the lens with a huge grin, and rub their hands together, bouncing a little in their seat. The camera holds still on its tripod. They do not talk, sing or mouth any words.

Where it goes wrong
Keep each solo shot to one photo
Send a picture model both photos for a shot with one person in it and it can mix the two of you up, so the one who should be eating ends up serving. Give the solo shots only the photo of the one who is in them, and in the shots with both, say plainly which image sits and which one stands behind.
Draw the stick at the lips, not in the mouth
A still of someone mid-bite with a cheese pull comes out strange: half a mouth, cheese in the wrong place. Draw the cheese stick held just in front of their lips with the mouth closed, and let the video model do the bite and the stretch.
Say the nails every time, and keep the brands out
The long red nails are the serving one's mark, and their photo will not have them: say so in every shot they are in, or they come and go. Do not name a snack brand either: a picture model draws a bag with a logo on it. Ask for a plain white platter and a kitchen with no packets, boxes or labels.
Only people who said yes
Use your own photos or photos of people who agreed. Do not use celebrities, the creator of the original videos or the friend in them, or anyone who has not agreed to be in the video: a realistic video of a real person made without their consent can hurt them, and platforms take it down.
Label it as AI-generated
Switch on TikTok's AI-generated content label before you post. A realistic clip of two real-looking people at a kitchen table is exactly the kind people ask about, and viewers trust a post that says so.
Or skip all of it
Upload a photo of each person above and get the finished video back in a few minutes: drawn, animated, cut and scored, with the AI label already on it.
How to post it on TikTok with the trend sound
Step 1
Download your video
Save the MP4 to your phone. It is already vertical, 1080 by 1920, so TikTok will not crop it.
Step 2
Start from the trend sound
Open a "your dinner is ready" video on TikTok, tap the sound name at the bottom, then tap Use this sound and pick your video from Upload.
Step 3
Turn our track down
In Volume, turn Original sound to zero so only the trend sound plays. Tap the scissors by the sound to start it on the line, so "your dinner is ready" lands as the plate is presented.
Step 4
Label it as AI-generated
Before posting, open More options and switch on the AI-generated content label. TikTok asks creators to label realistic AI-generated video, and viewers trust a post that says so.
Questions about the Your Dinner Is Ready generator
What is the "Cardo, your dinner is ready" meme?
A TikTok meme and sound: one friend in an apron and long nails stands behind another at a table, announces "Cardo, your dinner is ready", points out every part of an absurd dinner and feeds it to them by hand. In late October 2026 it became an AI trend, with people putting themselves and a friend into the giant red cheese stick episode.
Where is the original "your dinner is ready" video from?
From a creator's running series of real home videos in which one friend cooks and serves the other a strange dinner. The best-known one was posted on TikTok on 9 February 2025, runs about 78 seconds in one take and has been watched millions of times. Remakes, "accuracy" versions and AI versions followed.
Is there a prompt for the "your dinner is ready" AI video?
Yes, on this page: in the section on making one yourself, each of the four shots has the prompt for its still and the prompt that sets it moving. Here you do not need them: upload two photos and the four shots are already written. Whichever way you make it, draw the solo shots from one photo each and keep any snack brand out of the prompts.
Is the sound in the video?
No. The line is from the original creator's video and is not ours to put in your file, so the video comes with an original instrumental made for this template. Add the "your dinner is ready" sound on TikTok when you post, and turn our track down to zero.
How much does a "your dinner is ready" video cost?
80 credits for one finished video, from a credit pack or paid plan. If a video fails to generate, the credits go straight back to your balance.
Can I use a photo of someone else?
Only of someone who has agreed to be in the video. Before you generate, you confirm that both photos are of you or of people who said yes. Do not upload photos of celebrities, of the people in the original videos, or of anyone who has not agreed: a realistic video of a real person made without their consent can hurt them, and it breaks our terms.
What photos work best?
One person per photo, face clearly visible and looking roughly at the camera, in good light, ideally from the waist up, since both of you are seen at the table from the waist up. Put the one who gets fed first and the one who serves second. Avoid sunglasses, heavy filters and group photos.
What happens to my photos?
They are used only to draw the four shots, and we delete them from our storage as soon as your video is finished or fails. The finished video stays in your account so you can download it again.
Every video on this page, and every video made here, is AI-generated: the people in it are drawn by an AI model from the photos uploaded.
